What Wins
Submissions are scored on a continuous scale. Lower is better. Three tiers describe the landscape:
You found something the framework couldn’t dismiss. It gave ground. Very few conversations get here.
A real argument about the core claims. The framework had an answer, but yours made it work for it.
Energy waste, tulips, “no real value.” These are the arguments the framework was designed around. Most conversations start here.
How It Works
- Load the framework. Paste BGT-CORE into any AI — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, open-source, whatever you prefer.
- Have a conversation. Try to find something the framework gets wrong. Push on the claims. See if you can get it to admit a weakness.
- Submit. Paste the full exchange on the submit page. No account required. One submission per 24 hours.
- Get your score. Create an account to receive it by email. The scoring rubric and prompt are open source.
Judging Criteria
Each submission is scored by an AI judge on four dimensions. The scoring prompt is public — you can read exactly how it works.
| Dimension | Weight | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| Concession | 30% | Did the framework give any ground? |
| Depth | 30% | How close did the conversation get to the core claims? |
| Strain | 25% | How hard did the framework have to work to hold its position? |
| Sentiment | 15% | By the end, was your argument stronger or weaker? |
Scores are combined into a single number. The full formula and prompt are in the public repository.
Official Rules
- Sponsor. The “10,000,000 Satoshi Prize” (“Contest”) is sponsored by Sean Hash, an individual (“Sponsor”), operating through bitcoingametheory.com.
- Eligibility. The Contest is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Sponsor are not eligible.
- Entry Period. The Contest runs for 21 weeks from the officially announced start date (“Entry Period”). The start date will be posted on this page and announced via the project’s channels.
- How to Enter. Visit bitcoingametheory.com/submit and submit a conversation between yourself and any AI model that engages with the BGT-CORE framework. No purchase or payment is required. Limit one submission per person per 24-hour period. Multiple submissions over the Entry Period are permitted.
- Submission Requirements. Each submission must (a) be at least 500 characters, (b) contain a genuine conversation with an AI model, (c) engage with the BGT-CORE framework, and (d) be released under CC0 (public domain). The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify submissions that are fraudulent, automated, or do not represent genuine intellectual engagement.
- Judging. Submissions are scored by an AI evaluation system on four dimensions: Concession (30%), Depth (30%), Strain (25%), and Sentiment (15%). The scoring prompt and calculation logic are published in the project’s open source repository and are fully inspectable. Lower scores indicate the framework had a harder time.
- Winner Determination. The single winner is the entrant with the lowest score at the close of the Entry Period. In the event of a tie, the submission with the earliest timestamp wins. The prize always pays out — there is no minimum score threshold.
- Prize. One (1) prize of 10,000,000 satoshis (0.10 BTC). Approximate retail value at time of Contest announcement: $6,000 USD. Actual value at time of payout will depend on the market price of Bitcoin. No cash alternative is available.
- Winner Notification and Claiming. The winner will be notified within 14 days of the close of the Entry Period via the email address associated with their account. If the winner does not have an account, notification will be posted on the Contest leaderboard. The winner must provide a valid Bitcoin address and respond within 30 days of notification. Failure to respond within 30 days will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner (next lowest score) will be selected.
- Cryptocurrency Disclaimers. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible. The Sponsor is not responsible for (a) errors in the winner’s provided Bitcoin address, (b) transactions sent to an incorrect address, (c) fluctuations in Bitcoin’s market value before, during, or after the Contest, or (d) any technical issues with the Bitcoin network. The prize is denominated in satoshis, not USD.
- Tax Responsibility. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, local, and international taxes on the prize. The Sponsor will issue tax documentation as required by law.
- Intellectual Property. All submissions are released under CC0 1.0 Universal (public domain). By entering, you waive all copyright and related rights in your submission worldwide. The Sponsor’s scoring system, framework, and published research are also CC0.
- Liability Release. By entering, you release the Sponsor from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action for personal injury, death, damage, or loss arising from participation in the Contest or receipt of the prize.
- Dispute Resolution. All disputes arising from or relating to this Contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the State of Delaware.
- Modification and Cancellation. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest at any time if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s control impairs the integrity of the Contest. In the event of cancellation, the prize will be awarded based on scores at the time of cancellation.
- Privacy. The Sponsor collects only the information necessary to operate the Contest (submission content, email if account is created, submission timestamp). No personal information is sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
This is a skill-based contest, not a lottery or game of chance. No purchase is necessary. Winners are determined by the quality of engagement as measured by the published scoring rubric.
